We bring all of our own supplies and set up quickly, so you can expect us to arrive about 15-20 minutes before your event. All we need from you is a space with roughly a four-foot radius.

Taking care of your hair tinsel is simple with just a few basic tips:

* Washing: Yes, you can wash your hair with tinsel in. However, be gentle to avoid loosening the knot or microbeads. Use lukewarm water and try to avoid applying conditioner directly to the roots where the tinsel is attached.

*Brushing: Using a soft-bristle brush or wide-tooth comb gently detangle from the ends up. Avoid aggressive brushing to prevent the tinsel from becoming loose or falling out prematurely.

Drying: To prevent tinsel damage, avoid vigorous towel-drying and instead gently pat your hair dry.

We offer three different methods to install your hair tinsel, ensuring the look suits your desired style and longevity. 

Slip knot Method
Ideal for short-term, subtle shimmer, the slipknot method involves tying small knots in your hair to secure the tinsel. It's perfect for a quick, temporary look that can be easily removed after your event.  

Microbeads
For a longer-lasting effect, microbeads offer a more secure solution. Similar to the way beaded extensions are applied, small beads are placed near the roots of your hair to attach the tinsel. This method allows for more control over the amount of tinsel applied and can last up to a month or more, depending on care.

Clip-in-Tinsel
For a completely hassle-free and adjustable option, clip-in hair tinsel is the way to go. These tinsel strands come with metal clips that easily snap into place. The clips are gentle on your hair, and the soft fabric around the edges prevents any tugging or pulling. Perfect for a quick transformation or a temporary burst of shine.

Limit washing: The less you wash your hair, the less manipulation your tinsel will undergo. Try to extend the time between wash days and use dry shampoo to maintain freshness.
Gentle washing: When washing, ne as gentle as possible. Avoid scrubbing too hard or using hot water, as this could loosen the tinsel.
Condition properly: Only apply conditioner to the ends of your hair to prevent the tinsel from slipping out. 

While many types of hair tinsel can withstand heat, it's always best to use heat styling tools sparingly. If you do decide to use hot tools, set them to the lowest temperature to protect both your hair and the tinsel. This will help ensure that both your hair and the tinsel remain intact.
